Eric Emerson - RIP - A unique individual.....Always ready .....

http://thisaintthesummeroflove.blogspot.com/2009/05/052875-34-years-ago-today-in-new-york.html

Eric Emerson had his finale' in NYC on this day in 1975......A loss to the scene & his loved ones....A Warhol Superstar & always ready for adventure....

He lived life to the fullest. I'm proud to have been able to make music with him for years & experience the 'Wild Side' together.....never a dull moment....The 'Magic tramps' allowed Eric to be Eric.....Please read the above link for a few details you might have missed along the way & a special thanx to 'NYC Dreamin' for taking the time & interest to put this piece together...Also for a year of informative music information to share...Keep up the good job........

Eric is most likely "Kickin' Up Moonlight Dust" - as he sings "Magic In The Moonlight"......A true 'Superstar'........

It's sad that the last few generations never got and will never get to experience what Eric Emerson had to offer them. Sites and dedications like Sesu's and pieces like the one linked above keep the magic alive when the magician can't be here in flesh and blood. For this, I thank them humbly. Most of all, I thank Eric for being himself and sharing himself with the world.

Rest in peace, glitter magician.

What a wonderful remembrance of a special time with unforgettable people. Eric was constantly full of positive energy no matter what was going on around him, and somehow he could always make you laugh and feel good about things. His inner strength was always an inspiration for me, as mine was for him, and I still carry his message with me till this day.
Thank you sincerely for your wonderful tribute and keep up the good work!!

Thanks as always, Sesu, for the kind words, and for putting up the link to my tribute to your friend and vocalist - may he rest in peace and never be forgotten...
